Bakersfield RV Resort

Bakersfield rvBakersfield RV Resort, 5025 Wible Road, Bakersfield, California  93313

In Bakersfield, you may not anticipate a Luxury RV Resort that really meets expectations of the title.  Not true at Bakersfield RV Resort.  Beginning with the friendly staff, this park has put no limitation on amenities to ensure your comfort & enjoyment.  Their 200+ sites, about half pull-thru, all very level, packed DG, are nicely spaced allowing ample room for concrete picnic pads at each!   Lightning fast WiFi (I’m using it as I write), large pool & spa, spotless laundry, etc., etc.  If all that’s not enough, the Crest Bar & Grill is right on the property!  You’ll need to check this one out!

Admiralty RV Resort

admiraltyAdmiralty RV Resort, 1485 N Ellison Dr. San Antonio, Texas 78251

Admiralty offers every amenity you may expect of a fine resort, and more.  Their location, neighboring Sea World (hear those seals barking?) and less than 20 minutes from practically anywhere in San Antonio, (The Alamo, Riverwalk or Six Flags Fiesta, for example)  You will find this park to be spotlessly clean, with a friendly staff, and upscale features throughout.  Don’t let the modest pricing fool you!  You’ll pay far more in many areas for this kind of luxury.  We think you’ll want to spend a while here…………

Desert View RV Resort, 5300 Route 66, Needles, California  92363

When you’re crossing the Mohave Desert, Needles often works out to be a great stop-over oasis.  In such a case, Desert View RV Resort really shines!  A relatively small park, with 65 manicured gravel sites, each bordered with privacy hedges, with cement patios, it’s a pretty clean environment, rain or shine.   All sites are full-hookup, and most are pull-thru.  The  15 back-in sites are 80 foot long!  All the usual amenities, Pool, Laundry, & Free WiFi.  In this locale, we think it’s heaven!

Catalina State Park

Catalina State Park – 11570 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson, Arizona 85737catalina

Right there in the desert, just north of Tucson, lies Catalina State Park.  You won’t find many State Parks among my posts, but this one is exceptional.  It’s really the experience that makes it so special.  The beauty of this desert setting at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains to the East, the cactus, the Road Runners, and the Coyotes, all punctuate one of the most relaxing RV experiences we’ve enjoyed!  This park offers electricity (20, 30, & 50amp) and good water. There are a couple of very accessible dump stations, but no full-hook sites.  Catalina becomes a very popular place in winter, a bit easier to reserve space in the summer and fall.  Oh, yeah…the night sky is not to believed!  It’s also surprisingly close to civilization, but you won’t notice it.

East Shore RV Park

weast shoreEast Shore RV Park – 1440 Camper View Rd., San Dimas, CA  91773

The park sits atop rolling hills on the east shore of Puddingstone Lake in the Los Angeles basin.  Just 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 21 miles from Disneyland, it represents a great stop-off point for lots of major destinations.  The lake is very picturesque, and the park is well-maintained.  All the usual amenities are available, and the weather is ‘Southern California’ all the way.

Outdoor Resort Indio

Outdoor Resort Indio – 80-394 Ave 48, Indio, CA 92201Club-House

This park is not for everyone.  But for those with a 28’+ Class A coach no more than 10 years old, and looking for an outstanding experience in luxury RVing, it could be just the ticket!  This park is privately owned sites, clustered around beautiful lakes and a perfect 18-hole executive golf course (unlimited use is included with rental).  Pickleball is major here, with dedicated courts, and 10 (count-em) tennis courts!  As you may expect, there is a complete workout facility and 5 swimming pools!  Pricey for sure, but about what you would expect for the very best.  Take some time to look over their website.  It’s an eye-opener!
